Zagazig University Council agrees to hold a cooperation protocol between the Communication and Information Technology Center and MKCL company

A ccording to the presented proposal from the administrative board of the Communication and Information Technology Center, the Board of Zagazig University, headed by Dr./ Ashraf Al-Shehhi, President of the University approved in its meeting No. (456) on May 20, which is extended until May 31, 2014, on completing the procedures of signing the cooperation protocol between the center and Arab MKCL company in Cairo, as well as the activation of the recommendation of the Supreme Council equalizing the Indian certificate of MICIT with ICDL certificate and accredit it as an alternative to for the ICDL certificate in the requirements of appling for graduate studies at the university.

Dr./ Khaled Al-Darandaly, Executive Director of the Communication and Information Technology Center said that the Committee of the Sector of Computer Science and Informatics at the Supreme Council of Universities in its evaluation of the training program for the course and certificate of MICIT reported in its technical report that "the training content and depth of the training process for this program guarantee the minimum of enough skills so that the trainee can do his related work to the computer and that the training process includes teaching skill - a case study - practical activities accompanying process - a process with a larger challenge to train on skill - assessment process during training.

Also there is a training process on the program and making sure of the skill and exams during the training process to ensure that the trainees can learn the skill and evaluate it before moving on to the following skill . The presented report of the Committee confirmed that the skills of the training program MICIT are more than the global training programs such as (CIE - ICDL, etc.) and it also characterized by an assessment during the training process and beyond. Also the report recommended that the program MICIT is suitable as a training program for IT skills and the use of the computer.
